Jeff found this in the side yard the other day. We looked it up, it's a California King snake. Not dangerous :) Actually, they are apparently immune to rattlesnake bites and supposedly eat rattlesnakes, so really, I guess that it's not only not dangerous, it's friendly. Not sure where it came 
from or where it was off too but sorry I missed it in person.
