Behold - apple bars! When we were growing up, these were a family favorite. This past weekend, my mom was here, and it's apple season, so hey - put those two things together and look what you get :) The apples are from See Canyon - of course. We made these together so I could learn the ancient art of apple bar making, and except for being a bit heavy on the icing, they turned out great. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make more sometime soon.....
