The cookbooks had all been stacked on top of one of the cabinets since we unpacked them in August. We started the all rolling on a better solution a few weeks ago, and the new shelf was just installed Saturday.
Our builder had some Cherry left from another project, and they stained it to match the Cherry on the kitchen cabinets. Not only does it look great, but it puts them in a much more convenient location. Now I can just grab them instead of having to climb up on the stool!

Very effective and in sync! Some of us will still need the step stool though!!
