We made it through the storms of last week without any problems. No leaks, no water intrusion, nada. Needless to say, we are very happy about that :) We didn't get anywhere near the amount of rain they were calling for. I think we got 2" at the most, and they had predicted 4-5. Regardless, we really needed it and the hills are already starting to green up. The weather has turned warm and we've had offshores the past few days. Right now, the forcast is for warm & sunny weather for the next week.This was a bit of the sunset from the other night. There is probably a dog running around in the picture someplace - you just can see him because of the darkness. Already, I notice that it's light out just a *bit* later. I think it's "walkable" until about 5:40 now, which is nice. That allows plenty of time for an after work beach walk, but not enough for surfing yet. It's usually around Valentine's day that it stays light until about 6:00 and after work surfing is possible again.

Thanks for the 'shout out' on the New Year's blog! I am looking forward to a visit in the spring. Need to look at the sunset on the ocean and have a good cry. Cinnamon
